The Dom Square has been the heart of the city for centuries. This special square is the place where Utrecht originated. In Roman times as a fortress and later, in the Middle Ages, it is the place where Utrecht officially became a city. Utrecht was given city rights in the imperial palace, which was popularly called “Lofen”.

The Time Travel Lofen Palace Tour takes you to medieval Utrecht. A fire destroyed Lofen Palace in 1253, but the remains can still be found in the cellars beneath the Dom Square and the Fish Market.

900 years later, wander through the hidden Palace where Utrecht became a city…

De Domtoren is het hele jaar geopend. Naast onze reguliere rondleiding en de liftrondleidingen in de zomer, organiseren wij regelmatig andere activiteiten en speciale rondleidingen in de toren. Bekijk onze agenda voor meer.

Kaartverkoop

Tickets voor een rondleiding of liftbezoek koop je eenvoudig van tevoren via onze online ticketshop of aan de kassa in de Utrecht Winkel / VVV, gelegen op Domplein 9. Dit is ook het startpunt van de rondleidingen op de Domtoren. Let op: het is niet toegestaan (hand)tassen mee te nemen de Domtoren op. Hiervoor stellen wij gratis kluisjes ter beschikking.

Combinatie tour Onder & Op de Dom

Ontdek 2000 jaar Domplein van onder tot boven in 60 minuten. Je bezoekt de opgraving van DOMunder onder het Domplein en gaat aansluitend met de trap of de lift de Domtoren op. Let op! Dit bezoek wordt alleen in het Nederlands gegeven!
